LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock voters had the opportunity to go head-to-head with GOP candidates for public office.
The Republican Party of Lubbock County created this event: “Dating Candi,” themed after a speed dating event.
Each voter joins the circle and arrives at the table with different candidates.
That includes races for the State’s 84th District, District judge, and County Commissioner for District 4. There are also several contested judge races in the area.
Whoever wins the primaries in many of these races will automatically win the general election, as there is no single Democratic challenger for every office.
