Delhi: The country of Afghanistan among 4 people held in drug trafficking, suspected of sponsoring terrorism

Four other men, including an Afghan national, were arrested by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Team (ATS) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday with the heroine weighing 36 kg in connection with a Huge drug shipment seized from a Pakistani boat near the Gujarat Coast.
The defendants were arrested from the Okhla area of Delhi.
Before that, Gujarat ATS and NCB held nine Pakistanis. Police believe there is an entire organization operating out of Pakistan.
Police are also investigating whether the suspect has terrorist financing or connections to terrorist groups and whether money from the drug supply was given to terrorist groups.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) KK Patel, Gujarat ATS said, “Nine Pakistanis have been arrested while carrying a huge shipment of drugs from Pakistan. NCB and Gujarat ATS team are jointly investigating the incident. The accused has been transferred to ATS custody. One defendant is being treated for a gunshot wound”.
Patel added, “On further investigation, we found a connection with Delhi. The four accused were arrested near Delhi. Our teams are still in Okhla and are investigating with the NCB teams. A total of 36 kg of drugs were seized”.
ATS officials suspect multiple people are involved in the case.
