Dell plans to eliminate more than 6,500 jobs, or about 5% of its workforce, amid slumping PC sales — Dell Technologies Inc., facing plummeting demand for personal computers, will cut about 6,650 jobs, becoming the latest technology company to announce it will lay off thousands of employees.
