Kyler Murray injury update

Cardinals Coach Kliff Kingsbury said it would be a close call for Murray (ankle) to play against Seattle so obviously he seems like an in-game decision again. We will have to continue to monitor the injury reports, but it is unlikely he will return to training.

If he plays, he must be the starter. Seattle is indeed a top 10 unit against the fictional QB, but Murray’s urgent frustration and arsenal make him the right target. He is ours QB5 for Week 11, so unless you have Tom Brady, Josh Allen, Dak Prescott, or Jalen Hurts, you can play Murray with confidence.

WEEK 11 STANDARD RATINGS:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Rob Gronkowski Injury Update

According to Bruce Arians, Gronkowski (back) probably won’t be back to normal for another week or two. That’s not to say he definitely won’t compete, but you have to think that Tampa Bay, who has Super Bowl aspirations, would be wary of its veteran TE.

Giants are a mid-range unit against fantasy TEs, but we’ve seen Gronk play long enough to know that you have to start him under normal circumstances. If he does play, chances are he’ll make the quick list, but we’re inclined to think he won’t be active if the team is about to restrict him.

While we rank Gronk as TE5 as standard and PPR . Tournament, has a good shot, he will be removed later. OJ Howard and Cameron Brate are unreliable in the lineup based on what we’ve seen so far.

WEEK 11 PPR ASSESSMENT:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update

Hopkins (hamstring) is another guy we didn’t know much about earlier in the week, but practice reports should tell the story. We can’t speculate much on that, but we’ve seen hamstring issues that keep WR out for longer than two games.

Seattle was the top 10 defense against the fictional WR, but the elite WRs in this league succeeded against them. For that reason, Hopkins is ranked as WR5 in standard tournaments and WR4 in PPR tournaments. If he’s out, it’s hard to trust AJ Green, Rondale Moore, or Christian Kirk even if Kyler Murray plays. If Murray doesn’t play, go ahead and reserve all pass catchers for Arizona, except Hopkins.

Antonio Brown injury update

Brown (ankle) hasn’t trained for several weeks, and he’s likely to once again carry a “Q” tag in Week 11. We’ve said it many times, but the Bucs’ WRs stud trio always must start . Brown’s injury risk is further compounded by his exceptional comeback, no matter the game. The Giants are just an average team against fantasy WRs, so there’s nothing to worry about on that front.

We rank Brown as WR20 in standard tournaments and WR22 in PPR . tournaments. If he’s eliminated, Tyler Johnson will start in his place but don’t deserve a spot on the fantasy squad.

Logan Thomas injury update

Before Week 10, Rob Rivera said Thomas (hamstring) just “not ready to be put on the football field”, despite his initial thoughts, he will be ready to go. That said, we will have to monitor his condition and practice reports throughout the week.

If he does play, it’s hard to love the possibility of him getting injured. Carolina has one of the best defenses in football and has let in fantasy doubles just once this season (Dalton Schultz). We still think Thomas is playable at some tight finishes, but we are limiting his expectations. He ranks as TE18 as standard and in PPR . Tournament. However, we wouldn’t be shocked if he outperformed those ranks.
