WEEK 13 EFFECTS: Sleepers | Selling body | Start with ’em, sit’ em

Miles Sanders Injury Update

Sanders (ankle) hurt his ankle last Sunday, but as usual, things seemed to get worse on Monday. He was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice head into a match with the worst defense against imaginary RBs (Jets). If he does play, we like his chances for a big game, and since Jalen Hurts is limited with an ankle injury, we could see many defenders having good days. If Sanders is absent, Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell should split the duties in the backyard, as it looks like Jordan Howard (knee) won’t be playing after missing Wednesday’s practice.

We like Sanders because RB11 in PPR and Standard. If Sanders couldn’t play, Scott might have a ceiling as high as RB1, but he would likely be ranked as a premium RB2. Kenneth Gainwell would be a strong consideration.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

D’Andre Swift Injury Update

Swift (as) was first ruled “everyday”, then Dan Campbell said “it’s hard to say you’ll see” Swift compete in Week 13 against the Vikings. Now, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Swift could be out for weeks. It’s hard to know what his exact timetable is like, but it looks like he won’t be playing this week.

Minnesota allows the ninth highest fantasy score per game (FPPG) for fantasy RB, so we think Jamaal Williams could have a good day if Swift is eliminated. Williams is ours RB17 in standard and RB16 in PPR . tournaments for Week 13. He was able to sneak into the RB1 range in PPR simply because he could be the recipient of the classic Jared Goff discount. After all, he had 24 targets just as backup, and Detroit targeted RB in the second highest clip (102).

WEEK 13 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Darrell Henderson Injury Update

Henderson (four) did not practice Wednesday, but Sean McVay expects him to be ready to go up against the Jaguars. However, we are not taking him here, so we will continue to monitor the situation. If he does play, he will likely be limited to some extent and potentially knocked out if the Rams take the lead. Ultimately, he’s in danger of entering Week 13, but you can’t really consider taking him down based on his facilitation.

WEEK 13 USING DFS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo!

The Jags give up the FPPG 10th for RB, but based on the factors we’ve come up with, Henderson ranks as 10th for RB. RB16 in standard tournaments, and RB15 in PPR. If he does go out, Sony Michel will dominate the backyard touches and be ranked a bit lower.
