Update [Tue 8th Feb, 2022 01:35 GMT]: Good news, demon slayers – Switch version of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles It’s now been confirmed for the West, and will launch a day after its release in Japan on June 10.
Pre-orders for the physical version are now available on Sega’s website. If you take this offer, you will receive a key to unlock the bonus character for Kimetsu Tanjiro Kamado Academy.
Here’s a bit of PR from Sega and what to expect from the game:
“Switch players can look forward to all of the great features found on other platforms, including all of the post-launch content added to the game like six new playable characters — Rui, Akaza, Susamaru, Yahaba, Enmu, and Yushiro & Tamayo; new online quests that reward Kimetsu Points to unlock additional rewards; and all balance changes made to the game’s combat.”

Original article [Thu 3rd Feb, 2022 05:45 GMT]: Aniplex and CyberConnect 2 have announced the Switch release for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles.
In the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, it was revealed that the game will debuts in Japan on June 9for 7,480 yen (about $65 USD). There will also be a limited edition – which includes the Butterfly Mansion Patient outfit, Kimetsu Academy outfit, and 16,000 Kimetsu points (Thank you, Gematsu).
Similar title starring demon slayer Tanjiro Kamado was previously released in the West on PlayStation, Xbox and PC last October, and published by Sega. If we know anything about a local release, we’ll be sure to provide you with an update.
