Courtland Sutton had 8 catches in 97 yards and Javonte Williams ran 58 yards for Denver, as they used safety to beat the 49ers.
18-year-old Jimmy Garoppolo 29 passes 211 yards, touches and intercepts, Brandon Aiyuk makes a TD catch and Jeff Wilson rushes 75 yards but fumbles in the final minutes for San Francisco.
San Francisco scored their only goal in the second drive. A 20-yard pass to Aiyuk and a 37-yard run from Jeff Wilson set up the first game at the Broncos 18, and the 49ers overcame it with Garoppolo’s 3-yard pass to Aiyuk to make it 7-0. with 7:56 remaining in the first quarter.
