Detailed, unconfirmed 2023 Ram update for Australia

Ram truck working on some edits and updates 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups for the 2023 model year.

The updates of the model year mainly focus on new safety and infotainment technologies.

A spokesperson for Ateco, the Australian distributor of Ram Trucks, could not confirm if or any of these updates for Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 Pickup truck will down below.

Headlining the changes for 2023 is the availability of a 12-inch “frameless” digital instrument cluster on the Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 ranges.

The driver can also choose between analog or digital gauges on the digital instrument cluster.

Ram 1500 models with the 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen infotainment display now receive the Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS).

The Ram 1500 Rebel, which is not locally available, now gets Selec-Speed ​​Control, which is essentially a low-speed, terrain-oriented cruise control system, as standard.

The Ram 2500 and 3500 are available with an optional digital rearview mirror that displays real-time video from a rear camera and can be turned off to revert to a traditional mirror.

There are new trailer mirrors with telescopic capabilities available on the Ram 2500 and 3500 ranges.

The Laramie and Limited variants of the Ram 2500 and 3500 are now available with the new Mopar sports performance bonnet.

Trailer Reversing Control is now available on the Ram 2500 and 3500, allowing drivers to use the dial to navigate to where they want the trailer to go and automatically drive there.

Finally, the Ram 2500 and 3500 models now feature “improved camera systems”, including trailer rear view and blind spot.

Ram still offers the older Ram 1500 DS-pickup model in Australia, known as the Ram 1500 Classic in the US, but none of these model year updates have been applied to it.
