Ken Block’s New All-Electric Tractor, Dubbed Audi S1 Hoonitronwill debut in the latest Gymkhana video on October 25th.
Prior to this video, Hoonigan, Block’s racing and lifestyle company, introduced the colors of the S1 Hoonitron and detailed some of the specifications of the S1 Hoonitron. YouTube.
Audi S1 Hoonitron has was first revealed in December 2021 and has a design inspired by the legendary Quattro S1 E2 Pikes Peak hill climber from the 1980s.
That means there are boxy flares, a wedge-like shape, and some weird aerodynamic elements at the front and rear.
The paint color of the One-off features black, gray, white and orange details that are said to be inspired by classic Audi Group B and DTM cars.
It’s slightly lighter than the black, gray and orange S1 Hoonitron that was first revealed last December.
The wheels on this particular S1 Hoonitron are a little different from the original turboprop wheels, but still inspired by the Quattro S1 E2.
Hoonigan co-founder Brian Scotto said in the video that the S1 Hoonitron’s Rotiform wheels have been designed to be allocated to turbocharged vehicles if required.

Original S1 Hoonitron
Mr. Scotto hinted that we could see some turbofans on the S1 Hoonitron at some point next year.
This custom-built electric vehicle (EV) features four battery packs drawn from a Audi Q7 plug-in hybrid (PHEV), with two electric motors generating an undisclosed amount of power.
While we don’t know the exact system outputs, we do know that Hoonitron chewed on more than 100 tires during the filming of the latest Gymkhana video, which is more than double the usual number.
Inside the S1 Hoonitron, Block sits back in the cabin with his legs elevated in a similar way to a Formula 1 or Le Mans Prototype racer. Block says in the video it was one of the hardest driving positions he’s ever had.
This is not the first time Ken Block has fitted a flamethrower gasoline engine to an electric motor. Before he cooperation with Audihe relies on his partnership with Ford to get behind the wheel of the company’s 1044kW Mustang Mach-E electric SUV concept.
It’s not clear what Block’s partnership with Audi will yield. The pair hinted at a partnership with Audi’s high-tech Dakar racer when they announced the partnership in early 2021, but it’s unclear what role the Hoonigan team will play in developing the competitor .
Audi has since revealed the second-generation version of the RS Q e-tron The electric range extender prototype is said to be 15% more aerodynamic thanks in part to reworked body panels.
As noted above, the Audi S1 Hoonitron will debut in the Electrikhana video above YouTube on October 25.
