Dionne Warwick asks Jake Gyllenhaal to return Taylor Swift’s scarf
Code Red, this is not a drill: Dionne Warwick have a message for Jake Gyllenhaal, and it return Taylor Swiftscarves at the same time.
After release Red (Taylor’s version) on November 12th, people were talking about a new 10-minute version of her favorite song “All Too Well”, which has long been rumored to be about the musician’s relationship with Jake. Now Dionne has officially joined the conversation, and it’s clear whose side she’s on—at least when it comes to Taylor’s famous MIA winter scarf.
“If that young man had Taylor’s scarf,” said Grammy Award-winner, 80, tweeted on November 15, “He should return it.” And just to clarify, Dionne followed it up by also tweeting, “It doesn’t belong to you. Box it up and I’ll pay the postage, Jake.”
Unsurprisingly, fans went wild when the “Walk On By” singer tweeted her thoughts on Taylor’s track, with one user writing, “Give it back, young man. Female. The emperor said you had to.” While another wrote, “TWITTER’S CURRENT SAYS. Give the scarf back, JAKE.”
