Does Kareem Hunt play on Sunday nights?
Hunt (calves) practiced restraint all week, and although officially listed is “questionable”, both Hunt and Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said RB is super sub will play on Sunday night in Baltimore.
WEEK 12 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
In the five games before his injury, Hunt averaged 14.4 touches (3.4 catches), 88.8 yards total, and 1 TD per game. He’s more like “teammate #1” than “cuff #1” to Nick Chubb, and the duo have proven that both defenders can be effective illusion starters regardless of opponent. . Hunt is a bit more valuable in PPR tournaments than the standard one, but clearly, he’s effective any way you look at it.
WEEK 12 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
It’s possible he’ll be “calmed” back into action, but against a mid-running Baltimore defense, there’s no reason to worry about using Hunt in his first game back. He is a virtual starter of all formats, at least a flexible one.
WEEK 12 EFFECTS: Sleepers | Selling body | Start with ’em, sit’ em
If Hunt takes a step back and ends up being a surprise scratch, then D’Ernest Johnson will once again act as the 2nd man behind Chubb. He never gets as many touches as Hunt while Chubb stays healthy, so Johnson isn’t someone you can trust in your imagination. Chubb merely sees more emphasis and becomes an even better RB1 option.
