Doja Cat revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 and as a result she withdrew from the rest of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour.

“As most of you have probably heard before, a few members of my production team have tested positive for Covid 19 and I had to cancel a few of my upcoming concerts as a measure. safety precautions. Unfortunately, I am sad to share that I have also tested positive and will no longer be able to perform for the rest of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour,” she shared in a note posted on social media. on Sunday.

She continued, “While my spirits are down because I couldn’t be there to celebrate the holiday with my fans in Philly, DC, Atlanta, and Miami, I’m fine and looking forward to recovering and getting back to life. back there as soon as I can! The rest of the tour had some really great lineups, wish I could have been there. ”

On Friday, she announced that members of her production had tested positive for COVID-19. At the time, she canceled her scheduled performances only at stops in New York City and Boston during the tour.

The pop star, nominated for eight 2022 Grammy Awards including album of the year (Planet Her) and song and discography of the year for SZA-supported “Kiss Me More,” has recently appeared at concerts. Jingle Ball across the United States, including dates in Dallas, Los Angeles and Chicago.
