Cutouts is a popular choice in Monotspring runway show of 2023, fashion label founded by Eli Mizrahi. And Cat Dojasomeone whose makeup can overshadow her looks, it’s hard to miss front row seat. She wears a blue-and-white face makeup with red lips and wears a bandage dress with a prominent bust and cleavage. Same for Normandywhose bright red cape with two side cuts and high slit studded with bows, was perfect for the moment.
Dove Cameron was also a VIP in attendance. Hug her soft face personal style, the “Breakfast” singer sported a ruched crop top that showed off her asymmetrical figure, side cut, and ruffled neckline that fell onto a floor-sweeping train. Cameron contrasted the brand’s triangular train top with white wide-leg pants, and outfitted it with a double-layered gold chain, black round frames and a bag with top handles.
The polyglot was created with Ariana DeBose, who also made a sharp entrance. She wears a black color mini fleece jacket has an asymmetrical cut at the front, revealing a bandeau bra. With padded shoulders and a boxy silhouette, the look exudes strong sophistication and is made even more glamorous with a slit on the left side. DeBose remains committed to the color theme, adding a boxy black handle bag, slim tights, a pointed-toe pump and dangling earrings as finishing touches.
Star looks are fascinating previews of what’s to come on the catwalk. Models paraded in frilly pleated dresses, laser-cut bras and thigh-high slit skirts. The show marked the brand’s foray into swimwear, with minimal splashes of black appearing. There is also a clear focus on denim, the evening proposal of timeless textiles. The leather is incorporated throughout as well, in the form of opera gloves, strapless vests and dividers. Mizrahi stays true to her classic minimalist aesthetic, revealing exciting new ways to style glamorous cropped pieces.
