MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after a novel piece of paintings was stolen from a vendor on the Artwork Honest on the Sq. over the weekend.

Police say officers had been flagged down by the seller on Saturday. She needed to report the theft of a $1400 bronze statue of Humpty Dumpty sitting on a rest room she had known as “Dumpty Humpty.”
