A hostage situation in Edgewater ended with three deaths on Monday night. Police call it a double murder-suicide. According to Edgewater police, the incident happened in the Ridgewood area and East Knapp Avenue. The rest of the meeting, about 20 people, escaped. According to Edgewater police, a suspect entered a Drugs meeting, shot a man and took a woman hostage. The rest of the meeting, about 20 people, escaped.

Edgewater police spent hours trying to get the suspect out of the building, but the SWAT team eventually had to break down the door to get inside and find the victims.

When they broke down the door, they discovered the original victim, the woman and the shooter were all dead.
