Edinson Cavani and 2 other players on Barcelona’s radar ahead of the transfer deadline:

Barcelona is tracking freelance agents Edinson Cavani, Adnan Januzaj and Andrea Belotti, according to Sport.

The Blaugrana have had an epic transfer window, spending a whopping 163.2 million euros so far on Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.

They seem to be looking for fresher faces but through the free agency route.

There is growing speculation that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Memphis Depay are set to leave the Nou Camp.

Aubameyang looks set moved to Chelsea to return to the Premier League while Depay seems to be heading to Juventus in Serie A.

Barcelona are keen to sign a replacement and are said to be considering a move to a No 9 with Cavani, Januzaj and Belotti in their sights.

The La Liga giants are weighing their options with Xavi Hernandez hinting that a review of his squad will take place after departure.

A move for either trio is likely to come on the last day of the window as the expected departures of Depay and Aubameyang are proving protracted.

Cavani left Manchester United at the start of the summer after disappointing in his final campaign at Old Trafford.

The veteran Uruguayan striker scored just two goals and one assist in 20 appearances during the 21-22 season.

He played much better in his first season at United, scoring 17 goals in 39 appearances.

Meanwhile, Januzaj is not a number nine commercially but his experience in La Liga could be profitable.

The Belgian striker made 44 appearances last season for Real Sociedad, scoring five goals and providing three assists.

Finally, Belotti has a reputation as one of Serie A’s deadliest strikers and his availability is compelling.

The Italian striker left Turin in July, making 23 appearances this past season and scoring eight goals.

Barca remain focused on signing a new full-back after missing out on Chelsea right-back Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Spaniard was once a target for the Blaugrana but has signed a new three-year contract with the Blues.

A move for Villarreal’s Juan Foyth has been eyed but it looks like the Argentinian will stay at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

The Vice President of the Yellow Submarine told DAZN that they don’t need to sell music players.

Foyth impressed Villarreal last season, making 38 appearances as the team reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Barcelona could therefore turn their attention to PSG’s Achraf Hakimi or AS Monaco’s Vanderson, according to Difficult to handle.
