Edmonton police are asking individuals within the northeast neighbourhood of Montrose to examine their surveillance footage in hopes of figuring out a sexual assault suspect.
On Monday, police have been referred to as to a report of a sexual assault towards an aged girl within the space of 121 Avenue and 61 Road. Police mentioned the assault occurred someday between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
An unknown man rang the lady’s doorbell and reportedly compelled himself into her house and sexually assaulted her, police mentioned in a information launch Wednesday morning.
The lady didn’t know the suspect, in response to police.
The Edmonton Police Service is now asking individuals who dwell between 60 and 63 streets and 120 to 122 avenues to examine their doorbell and CCTV footage between the hours of 4 p.m. and seven p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18 for any suspicious exercise.
The suspect is described as between the ages of 45 and 60, about six ft tall and 190 kilos. He had darkish stubble on his face and was carrying glasses, a blue jacket, darkish pants and a black toque, police mentioned.
