Elon Musk asks Tesla’s fully self-driving beta testers to stop complaining about bugs

Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday asked Tesla owners not to complain about the driver-assistance feature that the electric vehicle maker is expected to roll out as a paid service in the future. Customers have stated that the company’s Full Self-Driving feature still requires intervention, while Musk has stated that the version of the company’s Full Self-Driving system being used by customers is an early beta without they asked to use, before the feature release

On Wednesday, Musk responded to a tweet by Tesla owner, James Locke, highlighting problems with the company’s Full Self-Driving beta. “Unfortunately, I have to say I’m still working to fix #FSDBeta 10.69 in my region. There’s still work to do,” the user said on Twitter, prompting the Tesla CEO to respond, lovingly. Ask them not to complain about the feature being in beta testing.

“10.69 is a limited release for a reason. Please don’t ask to be included in beta release early and then complain,” Musk replied to the user on Twitter, who claim they spent a total of $32,000 (about Rs 25,52,800) to use this feature.

Other users request Musk to apologize to users, but he refuses, clarify that the user contacted him directly, asking to be included in the “soon” beta, which included a thousand cars, mostly Tesla employees. “The initial beta clearly has issues or it’s going to roll out widely, so it’s wrong to publicly criticize something he’s asking for,” Musk said.

Tesla recently announced that it will increase the price of the Full Self-Driving feature to $15,000 (approximately Rs 11,96,600), while customers will be able to purchase the feature for $12,000 (approximately Rs 9,57,300) till date September 5. It was introduced for the first time. at $3,000 (about Rs 2,39,300), which means its price has now increased to 5 times its original price.
