Emerson Hospital Closes Due to Power Outage on Thanksgiving Day – CBS Boston
CONCORD – Emerson Hospital closed to new patients Thursday night following a power outage.
Concord Fire and Police have responded and the Concord City Light Factory is working on the matter but it is not known how long it will take to restore power.

Just before 5:30 p.m., police sent out a tweet asking drivers to avoid the area. The police department announced that power was restored around 6:15 p.m

There is no word on what caused the power outage, but Emerson Hospital reports that all patients are safe and the hospital is operating normally.

“Emerson Hospital is still operating normally after a brief blackout tonight. Its Emergency Department remains open. All patients were safe and the generator equipment provided much-needed power during the brief power outage,” the hospital said in a prepared statement.
