(Exclusive) Lil Uzi did not “intentionally” target the woman alleging that she was injured by a cell phone he threw at the Wireless Fest Source says
A woman who was at Lil Uzi’s performance at Wireless Fest alleges she was injured after the rapper was spotted throwing her phone into a crowd. In a series of TikTok videos, the woman, believed to be Isabelle Clifton, shows bloody scalp photos as a result of the incident.
A source close to the situation confirmed to The Shade Room that Uzi threw the phones in order to return them to fans who threw them on stage. Although the source did not confirm whether the phone was the cause of Clifton’s injuries, they did confirm that Uzi did not intentionally target anyone.
“During Uzi’s practice at Wireless Fest, fans threw several cell phones onto the stage and accidentally hit him. He was just trying to clear the phone off the stage, avoid slipping and safely continue performing – he never intentionally directed it at a particular individual.”
Clifton said she was hit in the head when Uzi threw her phone, and claimed that she couldn’t dodge the item due to the festival being overcrowded with fans. She also said that she received medical care at the festival.
So, as some of you may know, there was a video of Lil Uzi Vert throwing a phone into the Wireless 2022 crowd on Friday. I’m sad because the chicken got hit on the head by the phone. There was another person but I don’t want to mention him in case it’s not allowed but it’s true that there was some damage caused but he got his phone back and everything is being worked on. “
Uzi hasn’t spoken publicly about the situation yet, but we’ll keep you guys updated, Roomies!
