Fall 2022 fashion ad campaign

As the fall of 2022 begins, there will be a new offering of advertising campaigns, from major fashion houses as well as giant retailers. Same the trends we saw at Fashion Week reimagined in photo sessions, some staged to provide commentary on climate change, such as Balenciaga, or to pay homage to New York City, like Michael Kors. Other brands go a step further with experiences that go beyond simple photos, launching experiences in reverse and took over the city’s landmarks as Kate Spade. Purpose? To give clothing a new life on the catwalk and inspire fans to make their shopping lists before the fall.

This year, fashion brands rely on star power, asking celebrity spokespersons to model their new designs. Mining Coach Jennifer Lopez for his Icon campaign, shot by Tyler Mitchell, showing off a vintage handbag alongside a leather jacket and high slit skirt. Kim Kardashian made headlines in the aforementioned Balenciaga shoot, posing in a cut-out, backless dress against a backdrop of thunder and sea ice. Vlogger Emma Chamberlain styled a mix of wardrobe staples and nostalgic trends, from lace-up mini dresses to plaid skirts and loafers, for Aritzia’s Sunday Best campaign.

But there are also plenty of memorable ad campaigns that don’t have a celebrity theme. Burberry harnesses the power of communities and individuals with models wearing delicate pink lace or supple leather. Alexander McQueen lets his clothes speak for themselves: suits and dresses in abstract art prints stand out against a dark, neutral background.

From J Lo’s fall prep at Coach to Michael Kors’ suit shot in front of NYC landmarks, check out the best fall 2022 fashion ad campaigns ahead.
