NSLake Shelton officially made 500 episodes as a coach on NBC’s “The Voice” and celebrated the occasion with a TikTok Video.
Video shows Shelton eating a large cake by herself – no fork needed! His fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Ariana Grande stepped in and expressed their distrust. “Oh my gosh, are you still eating cake?” Clarkson asked. “Shelton, that’s loud,” Legend countered.
Shelton says he’s been earning the pie since he hit the 500-episode mark. “I’ll give you one but this is the last one,” he joked. Grande replied, “I don’t think there’s enough for us.
Several fans have commented to express their fears that Shelton may be planning to leave after season 21. “If he leaves the show, it won’t be the same as he did on the show, that’s why millions of people find his humor so engaging,” wrote one TikTok user. “If Blake doesn’t come back, I’ll definitely stop watching,” another commented.
Shelton is the only coach to have been on “The Voice” for all 21 seasons. Legend joined season 16 in 2019 and Clarkson joined season 14 in 2018. Season 21 was Grande’s first season as a coach. Shelton hasn’t said anything about his plans to leave the show, nor has NBC hinted that the “Kingdom of God” singer will be replaced next season.
Top 13 will perform on Monday, 11/15
On Monday, November 15 on “The Voice,” the top 13 contestants will perform, and audiences at home will vote for their favorite contestant. Shelton’s team was intrigued by Wendy Moten, Paris Winnginham and Lana Scott.
During the top 20 performance, Shelton told Moten she deserved to win. Moten and Winham won the highest number of votes from Team Blake. Shelton later saved Scott, noting that she was the only country singer left in the competition.

There’s a Theme on ‘The Voice’ This Week
In a sneak peek of what will happen to the top 13’s live show, a theme was revealed. “It’s Devotion Week,” Grande explains in the video, adding, “and the most important part is just making sure you feel super connected to what you’re singing.”
The top 13 contestants had to choose a song dedicated to a special person in their life. The two contestants will be eliminated on Tuesday, November 16, narrowing the group to just 11 musical acts.

To vote for your favorite contestant, visit the NBC website or download the official “The Voice” app. You can vote for each artist up to 10 times. You must register to vote with your email address or through Facebook.
Voting will open at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, November 15, and close at 7 a.m. ET on Tuesday, November 16.
