Fantasy Football Abandon Wire Watchlist for Week 17: Streaming targets, free agents include Carson Wentz, Samaje Perine, Robby Anderson
For those still competing in your fantasy football knockouts, we’re here to help you identify your top free picks, free agent and pre-match streamers. Champion Week 17. Of course, you could be out this time next week, but plan ahead as if you were about to win. Carson Wentz and Robby Anderson look to be solid streaming options for next week, and Samaje Perine (as well as every handcuffed RB) could become the likely ones to get an injury-free post-Week 16 exemption. or COVID complications. If you can get them for free right now, that could be a big step towards the fictional Super Bowl. Since Week 17 will mark the end of the majority of tournaments, we obviously won’t be looking for solutions that last longer than a week, so this will be the “adding all streamers” on the list. our track (apart from the handcuffed RB group).
The relinquishment cord is obviously thin at this point, but as injuries increase and matches involve, we have to be prepared for all situations. COVID-19 started skyrocketing through NFL locker rooms between before Week 14 and we’ll likely be addressing it in Weeks 16 and 17, so make sure you’re adding depth to your roster. yourself, even if you think you’re ‘fully set up’.
WEEK 16 EFFECTS: Sleepers | Selling body | Start with ’em, sit’ em
As we’re approaching the final week of the season, it’s now important to check your RB (and in some cases, WR) as you no longer need players who once had potential to be tickets. Lottery last season but in the end didn’t pan out. You don’t want to risk a player like David Montgomery or Saquon Barkely getting injured in Week 16 because Khalil Herbert and Devontae Booker will instantly become hard to get. Grab the handcuffs now so they’re ready to join your squad in no time without stress. In two QB/superflex tournaments, the same concept applies to the QB. It might feel pointless to add Sam Darnold or Mitchell Trubisky, but if you own Cam Newton or Josh Allen and they’re injured, you could go into next week without two starting QBs.
At the very least, it’s good to have a list of names of players to watch on Sunday so you can keep an eye on quick share and goal/touch and it’s always smart to ask streamers based on the match. in positions like TE or D/ST before there was competition for them.

WEEK 16 STANDARD RATINGS:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
Week 17 Watchlist Waivers: QB
Week 17 matches listed
Carson Wentz, Colts (48) vs LV
Wentz has cooled down a lot lately, but Raid has allowed QBs with the 11th highest fantasy score in Week 16, so his ceiling for fantasy championships is high.
Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (42) @ TEN
The Dolphins have struggled to run the ball overall this season, and the Titans’ have been one of the fiercest defenders against runaways. What is all this set up for? Expect 35+ pass attempts against the Titans defense that gave way to a sixth-place fantasy score for the midfielders.
Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (39) vs HOU
This matchup could ultimately set up a balanced match plan for the 49ers, but there’s certainly going to be plenty of points to be scored here. YAC monsters Deebo Samuel and George Kittle can always rip a long stretch when done with ease.
Justin Fields, Bears (25 years old) vs NYG
The Giants only introduced a natural match for the QBs, but Fields has come to life in a rush match in recent weeks, so his floor and ceiling have been raised. New York has nothing to play with, while the Bears are looking to build some momentum for next year. One week QB1 can take place.
WEEK 16 USE DFS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo!
Watchlist Waiver Week 17: RB
Week 17 matches listed
DeeJay Dallas, Seahawks (2) vs. DET
Dallas shot in 52 yards and encountered in Week 15, so he was a good deep league pick in the game against the Lowly Lions. He’s used as a patch catcher more than Rashaad Penny, so he’s a stronger PPR player.
Notable handcuffs – Nyheim Hines, Colts (50); Mark Ingram, Saints (47); Justin Jackson, Charger (42); Dontrell Hilliard, Titans (33); Devontae Booker (23), Giant; Craig Reynolds, The Lion (20); D’Ernest Johnson, Browns (18 years old); Khalil Herbert, Bears (15); Samaje Perine, Bengals, (14)

Week 17 Watchlist Waiver Line: WR
Week 17 matches listed
Marquez Valdes-Scantling (42) vs MIN
Minnesota gives up the most imaginary points to WR, so MVS is probably #1 pick for Week 17 waivers – assuming he’s not on the reserve/COVID roster. He’s always been explosive, but he’s starting to get real mass, and we know all the defensive attention is always on Davante Adams.
Robby Anderson, Panthers (36) @ NO
Anderson used to be a hit or break guy for the league, but he’s been looking like a high-rise, low-ceilinged opener in recent weeks, so he’s up against a defence. Saints have allowed seventh fantasy points for WRs.
Gabriel Davis, Bills (33) vs ATL
Cole Beasley (sub/COVID) and/or Emmanuel Sanders (knee) could both return for this game, but if not, Davis could have another nuclear performance like he did in Week 15 The Falcons have been a great match for the WRs for several years, and the deep pass game will thrive for Buffalo. Even with Beasley and Sanders playing, Davis is a solid TD-or-bust pick. If not, he will likely be rated WR2.
Kendrick Bourne, Patriots (28) vs JAX
Bourne is absolutely the league’s standard TD-or-bust player, but he’s often delivered in favorable games and that’s exactly what he’ll get in Week 17 against the twisted Jaguars. snail.
Jamison Crowder, Jet (28) vs TB
We had hoped Crowder would be more effective with Corey Davis (core) and Elijah Moore (quarterback), but perhaps their absence has shifted more defensive attention towards him. Moore is slated to return in Week 17, so Crowder could get back to flying under control and be a solid PPR game. The jets are probably going to have a long day, so a 10 target day will be here.
Week 17 Waiver Line Watchlist: TE
Week 17 matches listed
Tyler Conklin, Vikings (44) @ GB
The Packers are essentially a mid-range defense against fantasy TEs, but with limited options this week, Conklin is playable thanks to his upstream ability. This match always has the potential for penalties, so Conklin can take advantage here.
Gerald Everett, Seahawks (40) vs DET
Everett has made several double-digit games in PPR tournaments and is a more reliable target than DK Metcalf. The Lions’ attack has come to life, so Seattle won’t be able to dominate this game and give up on the passing game. Since Detroit is a middleweight team against imaginary TEs, Everett has to be considered.
Cole Kmet, Bears (age 28) vs. NYG
Kmet has been commanding a respectable number of targets lately, and that’s reason enough for the spot to be considered a streamer in a neutral game for TEs.
CJ Uzomah, Bengals (18 years old) vs KC
Uzomah hasn’t delivered high-quality fantasy performance in quite some time, but Kansas City allows TEs with the 11th highest fantasy score, and the game has real penalty shootout potential. As always, he’s a better pick in the standard league, but a touchdown or two will make him a TE1.
Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington (14) vs FIGHT
RSJ is new to the Eagles, and while he hasn’t had a great game, we have to take a look at his QB play. Garrett Gilbert started for Washington and Seales-Jones scored seven goals (four catches, 29 yards), so there are some good signs. Taylor Heinicke will return for this match, and the Eagles let the most imaginary points into place.

Week 17 matches listed
Cleveland Browns DST (43) @ PIT
We don’t have any news that Big Ben is washed out, but the Steelers’ offensive line is also one of the worst in the league, so Myles Garrett and teammates will start here. Expect lots of points from the sack in an ugly, low-score game.
Seattle Seahawks DST (44) vs. DET
Detroit’s attack has been impressive lately, but Seattle’s defense is better than anyone thought, so we could see the Lions return to their old mediocrity.
Pittsburgh Steelers DST (41) vs. CLE
We like the Steelers’ defense for the same reasons we like Cleveland’s. It’s going to be a low-scoring match with a lack of explosive play, so you’re almost guaranteed to get at least a positive score.
Carolina Panthers DST (24) @ NO
It’s no secret that the Saints’ offensive behavior has its limitations, and while the Panthers’ defensive unit has been exposed here and there, it often yields favorable matches.
Chicago Bears DST (15) vs. NYG
Mike Glennon or Jake Fromm would start here, and that’s good enough reason for us to consider Chicago. Is there anything else that needs to be said?
