Fantasy PPR, Standard TE Leaderboard Week 18: Who Starts, Tight Finishes in Fantasy Football
There’s a small percentage of tournaments that are still competitive this week, so as always, this Week 18 fantasy TE leaderboard is here to help decide who will start at the tight end in PPR and standard tournaments. For those of you who finished the traditional fantasy league during the season, these leaderboards can help you identify undervalues in DFS. As always, some teams had nothing to play in the final week of the regular season because they were looking forward to their season plans or were locked into a playoff seed. That said, we could see some change in these rankings over the weekend, so stay tuned.
Stud TEs Travis Kelce (@Broncos), Mark Andrews (vs. Steelers) and Rob Gronkowski (vs. Panthers) will face some of the fiercest teams against the TEs, but we know their sky-high record. making them unable to sit on the bench.
WEEK 18 VIRTUAL RATING (PPR & STANDARDS):
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | VND / ST | Kicker
It’s really important that the bubble players start or sit and we think you can call Foster Moreau (vs Chargers) if Darren Waller (knee) is still out, CJ Uzomah (@ Browns), Jared Cook (@Raiders), and James O’Shaugnessy (vs. Colts). Moreau and Cook are having two of the last three tight matches the most favorable, and we think Moreau in particular, has TE1 really upstream. Cook is a hit-or-miss, but the combination is tight, so this Chargers-Raiders confrontation will be a fun for the position.
Uzomah is booming and he hasn’t served in a while, but the Browns are a slightly favorable opponent for the TEs. Since they’re strong against the Open matches and Joe Burrow is playing like an elite QB, this could end up being another important week for Uzomah. O’Shaugnessy will be more of a risk if Dan Arnold (vs. Colts) is completely healthy, but at the end of the day, both could be considered in PPR tournaments in a three-team match for TE.
On the other hand, we can lower our expectations on Hunter Henry (@Dolphins), Mike Gesicki (vs. Patriots), Tyler Higbee (vs. 49ers), Cole Kmet (@ Vikings) and Tyler Conklin (vs. Bears). All of these guys are set to have worrisome matches for tight finishes and neither of them really have a safe floor in either format. At one point, it looked like Gesicki would join the elite class of TEs, especially in the PPR tournaments, but his absence from the field for the second half of the season puts him out in the open. Of course, he could still be a better pick than some streamer-level people like Uzomah or Cook, but his score is equally low.
We should also note that Mo Alie-Cox (@Jaguars), Austin Hooper (vs. Bengals) and David Njoku (vs. Bengals) are in favorable matches, but their scores are even lower than the others. people in tough matches. In the end, matches carry a lot of weight, but at a certain point in the rankings, a player’s overall outlook and past production matter when comparing picks. start or stop, so we don’t have much confidence in these three guys. .
During Week 18 we will be faced with uncertainty as to which teams are the real players that will 100% “try” in their games and as usual the sub/COVID roster may call to your top TE anytime. . Get ready for it all and again, check back for the latest updates.
Note: We’ll be updating these TE leaderboards throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement.
