One of the best things about any Far Cry game is the post-release support. These games may be a little bit similar, but Ubisoft pushes the franchise into some pretty crazy scenarios that offer some wildly different ways to play. Far Cry 6 It doesn’t seem to make any difference – the publisher is planning a strong roadmap for content post-launch, and it all sounds pretty crazy.
Firstly, there will be a lot of things that are offered for free to players. There will be weekly Uprisings, new quests to track down and eliminate Anton Castillo’s compatriots, which will of course reward you with new gear. You’ll also get six Special Activities – these take place in new locations and introduce new mechanics. You are tasked with stealing volatile chemical weapons and reaching mining points before they overheat.
Also free are three special missions that cross paths with some famous names: Danny Trejo, Rambo, and Strange things. Yes, it’s Far Cry 6 and Strange things intersection. What a world.
The other is the season pass, which comes with some special editions of the game or is available separately for $39.99. The main draw here is the three DLC episodes, each of which puts you in control of a past Far Cry villain: Vaas, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. Released in November, January and March, respectively, these trivia episodes will play out a bit like scams, as illustrated in the trailer above.
Furthermore, the season ticket will grant access to Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: Classic Edition. You only need to get the Blood Dragon as part of the season. Cool. Finally, a set of Blood Dragon gear is also included, which can be used in the main Far Cry 6 game:

- A vehicle: Omega Enforcer
- A Charming Weapon: KillStar
