Father and son killed in fast-moving house fire in North Arlington, New Jersey identified

NORTH ARLINGTON, Bergen County (WABC) — A father and a son who died in a 3rd alarm home hearth in North Arlington early Friday morning have been recognized by investigators.

They’re 75-year-old Safwat Saad and 44-year-old Maged Saad, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Workplace stated.

Each males have been pulled from the flames that broke out on the second flooring of the ninth Avenue residence simply earlier than 4:15 a.m.

They have been pronounced lifeless on the hospital.

The older man’s 66-year-old spouse was rescued by ladder from the second flooring. Neighbors tried to maintain her calm as emergency responders tried to seek out her son and husband — however by the point they discovered them, it was too late.
