Police confirm male singer B2K Raz B smashed a hospital window and climbed onto its roof, as a circulating video shows. The incident is believed to have occurred on Thursday (May 25) in Kansas City, according to TMZ.

The store captured footage of Raz on the roof of Saint Luke’s Hospital while onlookers watched from a nearby window. Witnesses told first responders they feared Raz might jump.

According to reports, police received a dispatch call around 10:20 a.m. Fire department officials also arrived at the scene and spread mats on the ground below as a precaution, according to the source.

A negotiator was even called in to assist in bringing the singer down safely. Raz eventually agreed and returned through the window before being processed by EMS.

Authorities said the situation was resolved without further incidents.

Raz posted cryptic video on Instagram the day before the rooftop incident

The 37-year-old posted a separate video on Instagram the day before the incident. In it, he repeatedly tells viewers that he doesn’t feel safe. Raz makes a statement about “fighting for survival”.

He said he didn’t want “surgery here.” In the caption, he posted the address of a hospital in Kansas City and begged his followers to “come pick him up.”

That video has nearly 100,000 views as of Friday. Hundreds of worried fans appeared in the comments asking if the singer was okay.

Raz’s condition as of Friday (May 26) remains unclear, but we do know he went to rehab and has a history of legal trouble.

In 2020, the male singer entered a self-care facility on his own after being arrested for DUI, as reported by Shade room.

“The stress of childhood trauma has led to a number of unhealthy decisions in life. Last week, he signed up for a private self-care facility to purchase the necessary tools for a healthier life,” a source told The Shade Room at the time.

A year ago, he was arrested in Minneapolis for domestic violence by strangulation. Sources said the victim was Raz’s girlfriend. However, prosecutors ultimately refused to pursue charges against the singer, citing a lack of evidence.
