We had too many announcements during the Nintendo Direct yesterday, but as you may have seen – Japanese broadcasts are a bit different.
In particular, Square Enix used it as an opportunity to share some new insights about its upcoming racer. Chocobo GP – reveal Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII will be in the game. The highlight is, he’s a Season Pass 1 racer.
While Season One will be accessible to all players, it appears that a payment will be required to access the Season One Card. Luckily, Square Enix will make a free giveaway, enough to unlock Cloud.

In addition to Final Fantasy VII and the recent 2020 remake, Cloud has also previously appeared as a DLC warrior in Super Smash Bros. series. Chocobo GP will be available on Nintendo Switch next month on March 10.
