Fire Emblem Attracting allied activity on Somniel makes Garreg Mach look old
Fire Emblem joins coming soon, set to launch on January 20th. And on Thursday, a trailer introduced a new hangout place where you and your allies will spend a break between battles: Somniel, a Fresh green floating fortress. In the trailer, the main character — with a giant mane of red and blue hair Colgate-ass — glance at Somniel’s lush layout, showing off fun activities. Just like previous Fire Emblem installments, this one promises fun freaks like flying Wyverns, shopping for cute outfits, watching fortunes — and of course classic bonding activities like sharing meals and go fishing.
Somniel has plenty of places to prepare for your battle. In the game’s square, you can buy armor and other items. There’s a ring room where you can store the rings you’ve collected and craft new ones—a new gameplay element that allows players to increase stats. You can also fight in the arena to gain experience and do a series of battles in the Challenge Tower.
Most importantly, there are plenty of activities to do with your allies in Somniel, such as sharing (possibly multiple) meals at Café Terrace to boost your allies’ stats. You can also exercise together, watch your luck, ride a Wyvern circling the sky over a track and fish (of course). There’s a freak farm where you can take care of animals you find on your adventures — the trailer shows a cat hanging out with a donkey, a hound, and a dog. camel. There is also a very cute creature named Sommie, who has been “here since time immemorial” and will bless those who treat it well.
The trailer also shows off fashion customization options — you can buy clothes and accessories like different shades for yourself and your allies. You can also take a nap in your large, damp bedroom; but your cute ally can wake you up, just like a Animal Crossing: New Horizons Villagers appear at your house.
Fire Emblem Fans know how much of the series’ downtime between battles is spent chatting with allies and performing silly activities. In Fire symbol: Three houses the player roams the sacred halls of Garreg Mach Monastery, spending activity points cooking fish skewers and eating 17 meals a day with fellow students — all for the purpose of bonding before heading off into battle. .
