First Armstrong Tulip Festival blooms in North Okanagan – Okanagan

Thousands of tulips have sprouted in Armstrong, BC, creating the perfect backdrop for photos, live music, horseback riding and picnics.

The Armstrong Tulip Festival boasts hundreds of acres of tulips in full bloom, making for a colorful show to enjoy. Blooming Festival founder Alexis Szarek created the massively popular Abbotsford Tulip Festival, moving it and her family to the Okanagan in 2020.

“It’s been almost three years in production,” says Szarek. “We planted tulips for a festival in 2020 but then we got close to COVID so this is the first time in a long time we have tulips.”
