First class! Two-point facility attracts one million players worldwide
At the beginning of last month, we were blown away by the joy we had Two-point basis – win the top game of the class 9/10 in our rating. We are therefore extremely pleased to see Two Point Studios’ announcement that the game has now attracted over a million players worldwide.
It is true that this total represents the players above all of console, so yes, we’re assuming this includes Xbox Game Pass as well. But a total of a million players in less than a month for an indie developer is nothing to scoff at.
The developer shared the impressive milestone on Twitter, thanking fans and welcoming any newcomers who may have signed up a little later:
The excellent Switch release has worked pretty well for Two Point Studios! We’ve been tracking Two Point Campus’s impressive sales since it came in at number two on UK Rankings in opening week. This week, the game ranked 38th on chartbut with 68% of revenue still coming from the Switch, it’s clear that the game has found its natural home.
As for the sequel, it looks like Two Point Studios has some plans in the works. A million players will always prompt the studio to think about expansion, and while it still seems like a short way off – the developer is currently focused on keeping the game running smoothly – additional features Supplements may be available in the future.
If you haven’t gotten your hands on Two Point Campus yet, take this milestone as a sign. The school bell is ringing, and a million other people are waiting for you inside.
