‘Flee’ Director Jonas Poher Rasmussen On His Animated Documentary – The Hollywood Reporter

Filmmaker and documentarian Jonas Poher Rasmussen, director of the the upcoming animated documentary Flee, is a visitor on a brand new episode of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Behind the Display screen.

Rasmussen met his good friend Amin — the topic of his highly effective documentary — in the course of the ‘90s, whereas they had been college students in Denmark. Amin — which is a pseudonym they created for the movie — made a harrowing journey as a toddler refugee from Afghanistan, a dramatic story that Amin stored this a secret till just lately, as he ready to marry his husband.
