Florida woman eats lunch while 4 dogs die in hot car


A woman has been arrested for animal cruelty after police said four dogs died in a hot car. According to the New Smyrna Beach Police, Tesia White, a 25-year-old owner from Missouri, left her four dogs in her car when she had lunch at a restaurant on Canal Street. White says she leaves the air conditioning on and windows open, and checks on the dogs once during her lunch hour. However, when she returned to the car at the end of the meal, all four dogs were dead. The 911 calls describe the horrors found. The caller said, “I was outside the Corkscrew Bar and Grill on Canal Street and we had four dogs next to us. They accidentally turned off the air conditioning in the car and they got stuck in a hot car and now Now they’re all on their sides and none of them are moving… We’re pouring water on them but they look unconscious.” and a 2-year-old Boxer.White was charged with four counts of animal cruelty , and was transferred to the Volusia County Branch Jail for a sum of $10,000. White was very emotional during his court appearance.
