Football-themed funeral services are planned for teenagers found dead
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Funeral services have been scheduled for a 14-year-old boy found dead in Palm Beach Gardens.
Ryan Rogers’ birthday celebration is scheduled for Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation & Events Center in North Palm Beach.
Cindy Rogers wrote on Facebook that her son went out for a bike ride Monday night and didn’t return home.
The teenagers The body has been found Tuesday, near the Central Avenue sidewalk at the Interstate 95 overpass, police said. A bicycle was found near the body.
Ryan Rogers, a freshman at William T. Dwyer Community High School, loves football and has been a member of the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletes Association since the age of 4.

David Craven, the league’s president, said Ryan’s mother wanted his memorial to be football-themed and was encouraging people to wear their soccer jerseys.
Palm Beach Gardens police have not yet released a cause of death, but investigators returned to the scene Friday morning to take measurements.
Police said an autopsy has been completed. Results have not yet been published.
