Now Fortnite The collision event of Chapter 3 season 2 is over, a new season has begun. Chapter 3 season 3, called “Vibin”, begins Sunday with a brand new match and familiar cyborgs returning from the vault.
The new Battle Pass has a lot of neat initial design, but also includes Darth Vader as the big final bonus. At the end of the season, players will be able to unlock Indiana Jones cosmetics by completing quests.
The collection-focused cosmetic this season is Snap, a skeleton-like outfit that you can mix and match as you find his limbs and pieces around the map.
The map will also change and feature a new jungle biome called Reality Falls, which is filled with “fiery mushrooms, purple trees, waterfalls, loot-filled caves, and geysers that players have can start from there,” according to Epic Games. Reality Tree releases saplings that can be planted and harvested for loot.
Players can also hop on wild animals (such as wolves and wild boar) to ride them and jump into Ballers, a hamster’s ball-like vehicle that allows the player to grapple and roll around the map. Ballers returned in Season X, but now return as battery-powered floating cars. Once the battery runs out, the trip will end.
New weapons such as the designated Marksman Rifles – which range “between Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles” – will be making their way, while many of the guns that appeared in the last season will return to the vault.
Season 3 will last about three months, making Vibin’ the perfect summer theme for it.
