fromsoftware: Soon you’ll be able to team up with friends in Elden Ring, here’s how

At some point in a solo role-playing game, some of us want to explore and go on further adventures in the game world with a group or just a friend. Elden Ring is one such game where you might have a headache with an adventure buddy as you go explore its Soul-like world even though the game offers bit and piece co-op. The good news is that the co-op experience will now be possible in the game, but not from FromSoftware for now.
This co-op experience will be done through a mod called ‘Seamless Coop‘mods. The modder is LukYui and the mod will release a public beta on Nexus Mods on May 27th for the PC version of the action RPG.
So in addition to teaming up with each other at any time in the game, the mod also allows you to take on your teammates if fighting together becomes too common for you. Other features the mod brings is being able to see your partner after you die for a boss fight, vote for fast rides, both co-op players ride their own horses in the game and include up to four players on your team although the more teammates you have, the harder your team will be destroy the enemy. In addition, you will share rewards and game progress.

The modder’s promise is that the co-op mod won’t get players banned because the mod doesn’t use FromSoftware’s multiplayer servers and also because it doesn’t use anti-cheat when running on a separate launcher. However, it is yet to be seen how effective the mod will be when it launches on May 27, and will it get the developers thinking about bringing an official co-op experience to Elden Ring?
