Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade stand out on the red carpet when wearing yellow outfits for the film’s premiere “Redemption Group“on September 22. Their eye-catching color choice could be a nod to the documentary revolving around the US men’s basketball team’s gold-medal at the Beijing Olympics this year. 2008.
With help from her stylist, Thomas Christos Kikis, Union took a highly glamorous approach to metallic colors, wearing a Valentino-waisted mini-dress that was completely covered in sequins. She paired this design with a longer, knee-length coat for a stunning high-low silhouette.
The “LA’s Finest” actress is thoughtful yet restrained with her accessories. She styled the shiny, beaded outfit with lace-up heels of the same color, while her hair was pulled up atop of her head into a perfectly smooth ballerina bun. For jewelry, Union opted for a twist on the traditional necklace earrings with an 18k gold link piece by Tiffany & Co.
Meanwhile, Wade chose an unexpected yellow color with Gucci’s yellow floral vest. In collaboration with his stylist, Jason BoldenWade paired the bold set with a simple white button-down dress and black leather shoes that are very similar to the ones he wears at Met Gala 2022.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen coordinated outfits from Union and Wade. During the summer, the power couple was spotted in additional black and white looks at Paris Fashion Week. They even bring their children in on the fun matching printed dress with Zaya and Kaavia at the “Cheaper by the Dozen” premiere earlier this year.
