“It was a discussion,” George recalls the moment the two decided to start working for a child. “We’ve been married for about a year and we stayed at a friend’s house and they had a baby there, it was so loud and obnoxious and I was like, ‘Oh st!'”
According to the two-time Oscar winner, the couple stepped out for a quiet time when Amal commented that she felt they were “terribly lucky in life.”
“And I said, ‘Yes, we are, we’re lucky we found each other,'” George recalls telling his wife. “And she said, ‘Looks like luck. that should be shared with some other person.”
“I thought about that for maybe a minute,” he continued, sharing that neither of them “made a decision” about the kids at the time. “Then I just said, ‘Well, I’ll join if you join.'”
