Steelers WR George Pickens put together an exciting 2022 season with one of the league’s worst fouls. And former Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger believes the rookie is just scratching the surface.
“I feel like he can do every catch. High ball, low ball, back shoulder, looks like if he was in his area he would do it,” Roethlisberger says on his podcast “Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger”. “He has the ability and has shown to be a superstar.”
Pickens made some amazing acrobatic hits in the first year showing his large catch radius. He has the most catches against a rookie (19) since Pro Football Focus started tracking the data.
