George Santos’ Awkward Fox News Interview With Tulsi Gabbard

Republican-elect congressman George Santos tried to explain some lie about his profession and personal life in a Fox News interview with Tulsi Gabbard on Tuesday — but the network’s rookie and former Democrat refused to let him out of trouble.

Gabbard, as a guest of Tucker Carlson tonightsounded completely unfriendly after Santos admitted he had made “a mistake”.

He added: “Humans are not perfect and we all make mistakes.

“If I were one of those people in the third borough of New York right now,” Gabbard said, “and I’m finding out all the lies you’ve told – not just a little lie or a little bit of a lie. point. These are blatant lies. My question is: Are you ashamed? are you ashamed? [regarding] the people you are asking to trust you to be their voice for them, their families, and their children in Washington?”

“I could say the same thing about Democrats and [that] party,” replied Santos. “Joe Biden has lied to the American people for 40 years. He is the president of the United States. The Democrats support him resoundingly. Don’t they have any shame?”

“However, this is not about the Democratic Party,” replied Gabbard, who has Initial recruiters don’t pay much attention to Santos’ fabrications before Tuesday’s interview. She then asks Santos if anything he says from now on should be believed.

“Listen, I agree with what you’re saying. And like I said, and I go on: we can argue about my resume and how I work with companies like Goldman [Sachs] and Citigroup.”

“Is it controversial or is it just false?” Gabbard pressed.

“No, it’s not wrong at all. That is debate. I can sit down and explain to you what you can do in private equity…and we can have this discussion that will be beyond the reach of the American people,” Santos asserted, prompting Gabbard was surprised.

“You just highlighted my concern and I think the people at home have it too. You’re saying that this discussion is going to be beyond the understanding of the American people, essentially insulting their intelligence,” Gabbard said.

“That’s not what I’m talking about,” Santos insisted before detailing his supposed job duties while working with those two companies.

“This is not a made-up story. But I feel like no one really wants to sit down and talk about it. People just want to push me and call me a liar.
