Alec Baldwin will open in his first interview after his fatal shooting on set Rust at the end of October.
The actor recently sat down with the host George Stephanopoulos from ABC News for an exclusive on-camera shot, which will air online on Thursday, December 2. Ahead of the official live, Stephanopoulos spoke to his co-hosts about the upcoming shoot, sharing that the actor was “devastated.”
“I’ve done thousands of interviews over the last 20 years at ABC,” Stephanopoulos said in one clip, shared by the network on December 1. “This is the most intense level I’ve ever experienced. It’s so raw, as you can imagine, he’s devastated. But he’s also very outspoken. He’s very forthcoming. He answers every question.”
The official sit-down comes more than a month after Baldwin accidentally fired a prop gun while on set. Rust on October 21, the cinematographer stands out seriously Halyna Hutchins and injured the director Joel Souza.
