Gift combinations lead to new loves – The Hollywood Reporter
Trailer for Prime Video Something from Tiffany was released on Tuesday and brings the festivities, romance and laughter in time for the upcoming holiday season.
Daryl Wein directs a screenplay by Tamara Chestna for the romantic comedy based on the novel by Melissa Hill. The film’s cast includes Zoey Deutch, Kendrick Sampson, Rose Abdoo, Shay Mitchell, Ray Nicholson and Javicia Leslie.
Taking place in New York City during the holiday season, Rachel, played by Deutch, learns how matching engagement rings can lead to unexpected relationships. Rachel and Gary, played by Nicholson, seem to have a strong relationship, but aren’t ready to make a big commitment just yet. On the other hand, there’s Ethan and Vanessa, played by Sampson and Mitchell, who are ready to make things official.
But when a special box from Tiffany & Co. confused and swapped for another gift, utopian paths took place. “I know something when I see something and it’s nothing,” Rachel’s friend, played by Leslie, says in the trailer. And what she’s seeing eventually leads to a romantic turn. The film follows the journey of leaders trying to figure out who they really want to be with, aided by lights and classic holiday magic.
Something from Tiffany will be released globally on Amazon’s Prime Video on December 9.
