You know those chic linen-blend dresses that all fashion influencers wear for up to $200? Well, I wouldn’t spend all that on one item that I’d be adventuring, sweating and partying all spring. I wanted something that was both cute and stylish, but at a fraction of the cost. That’s why I freaked out when I saw this Old Navy Puffy Sleeves with Waist Puffs Gingham Mini Wrap Dress ($40) – it totally looks like a high end piece and the linen-rayon blend is really pricey. Obviously I bought new products and wear it that same week.
What I Like About This Old Navy Blue Midi Dress
The texture and quality of this dress is right for my investment. Like I mentioned, the linen-rayon blend looks pretty and the fit is flattering – I prefer a wrap dress, as you can get an adjustable fit. . The puff sleeves are just the right volume, and I always appreciate a dress that I can wear with my favorite white sneakers. I was also impressed that the fabric didn’t wrinkle throughout the day, as is common with this fabric. It comes in sizes XS-4X; I’m wearing a large one, true to my size and what I usually wear.

I’m wearing this dress with sneakers for a fun Saturday lunch and a drink at a brewery, but you can also dress it up in a formal look with white high-heeled sandals. It would be perfect for a nice dinner, wine tasting, or party. That’s one of the great things about this dress: it’s pretty versatile. I love how it looks with a denim jacket.

Not only did I recommend it, but I also convinced my friend to buy it. The cut, quality and style are ideal for sunny weather spring and summer day. For only $40, I would probably buy it in a different color, since I wear it very often.
