ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A 14-year-old boy is credited with helping to save a family from possible tragedy.
The Albert Lea Police Department said a mobile home fire broke out Saturday morning at 907 Gene. St.
Three family members were sleeping in the house when the fire broke out.
A 14-year-old girl then informed her mother of the fire and all occupants got out safely.
The fire brigade arrived and saw fire coming out of the windows. The house was badly damaged by the smoke and the rooms were damaged by the fire. Estimated damage was $20,000.
