Glen Davis may need a friend higher up with the Celtics

We may not get this chance this year, but for those who haven’t bought a grandstand seat at a Major League Baseball game and sometime after the third inning – or the third beer, whichever comes first. Whichever comes first – try to find a better perspective or get some free concert tickets at their part-time high school job and move down a few sections after spotting the ones. how high is the nosebleed seat in SeatGeek The stadium in the suburbs of Chicago?

If a season ticket holder doesn’t sell out tickets for a game they can’t attend, why let that seat go to waste? However, former NBA champions who attend a game – at the stadium where they won the championship – usually do not have to try this caper.

An ABC camera showed Glen “Big Baby” Davis sitting behind one of the baskets during Sunday afternoon’s broadcast of the Boston Celtics’ 126-120 win over the Brooklyn Nets. That camera showed Davis live in that unfortunate moment when you’re caught trying to watch the game from a better position. Then he was forced to utter the all-too-familiar failure: “These chairs.” No question mark, it’s a statement.

Davis might be more irritated than embarrassed, because who will show up in the game with two minutes left in the third round? Boston-area traffic may not be completely clear at 1 p.m. Sunday, but will you arrive at the game two hours after it’s over? It’s ridiculous. The game was so late that the refreshment stand was about to close. Don’t let me sit so comfortably that I forget I didn’t buy it. At this point, my standard of living has risen too high to be undone.

I’d be almost ready to start a Go Fund Me to get a better seat for Davis, if it weren’t for the shabby t-shirt he’s wearing. It was a t-shirt with the Celtics logo on it that said “respect the symbol”. There is no one in the sports world, athlete or non-athlete, more offended that time Kyrie Irving stepped on the Lucky logo in the middle of the field.

Lucky is not only not a real boy but is made of paint and wood instead, which players will step on in all the games each season. Someone literally stood on Lucky’s stupid face in front of everyone for 30 seconds waiting for the referee to give the opening tip. Players stop on it, cut on it, jump on it, stomp on it, sweat on it, sometimes even bleed on it. And Celtics fans were saddened when Irving aggressively stomped on it after being mocked for an entire game.

I know sport is emotional, but people this has to stop. Unless someone digs the logo out of the field or courthouse, and steals it as an old fraternity prank, nothing bad has happened. For those of you who feel differently, you deserve to see the logo exposed, or at least be forced to leave your seat on a national broadcast while a chyron displays your legal name and nickname.
