GloRilla called out for allegedly defrauding businesswomen

After GloRilla made headlines with her $550/week personal assistant job listing, people are rushing to accuse the rapper of defrauding them.

A choreographer says GloRilla’s team abandoned her High & Dry

Based on FOX13 Memphisa choreographer named Trinica Goods alleges that GloRilla never paid for a five-hour dance lesson.

Trinica says she worked with GloRilla at an Atlanta-based dance studio in August, and the rapper reportedly agreed to pay $1,500 for the lesson. In addition, the choreographer said she is also responsible for teaching Glo’s background dancers some new moves.

Do you know her signature little move that she does? She did it one way, I choreographed it another way and they did it that way on every other show.”

We should also note that this experience was documented on Trinica’s Instagram page.

After trying to get her payment, GloRilla’s team allegedly promised Trinica that she would be paid in the near future. However, four months later, she says she still hasn’t been compensated.

“Putting that on my resume doesn’t help pay my bills. That’s five hours of my time where I could be doing something else or doing something else. But here it is, I’m trying to argue with grown men about who’s going to pay me.”

The choreographer then revealed that, based on rumors she’s heard from others, she thinks there might be something suspicious going on with Glo’s team.

“After that, it started to show that all her team [doesn’t] Good money handling. And nothing against her because I really don’t believe she knows.

She then concluded her commentary by saying that GloRilla is “really a real talent, but when you have greedy people behind the real talent, that takes away from her.” .”

A businessman made a similar allegation

In addition to Trinica, a businessman named Kimberly Renfroe also alleged that she was cheated by GloRilla’s group.

Kimberly, owner of Fropunzel Hair & Body Care, said she contacted Glo’s management to inquire about a product endorsement deal. She agreed to Zelle over $1,200, though she is said to have asked for another $300 after that. Then, after asking for a refund, she is completely haunted.

However, Kimberly later used TikTok to resolve the situation FOX13 Memphis reported that it was removed.

GloRilla gives feedback

Faced with that situation, GloRilla released a statement to FOX13 Memphis also shared that scammers impersonating her group are responsible for the aforementioned allegations.

She shared that she was “looking into the matter” and urged fans to “take the appropriate steps” to protect themselves from scams.

“I learned that an individual was impersonating members of my team and tricking people for money as part of a scam. I’m looking into this, but I’d like to encourage all of my fans and supporters to be extra careful with how they communicate with strangers online. It is important to do your research and take the appropriate steps to prevent you from becoming a victim of cybercriminals posing as celebrity groups.”
