“Go ahead and ask your parents.”
LeBron James wrote a hilarious reply to the Memphis Grizzlies after the LA Lakers eliminated them in game 6.
The LA Lakers easily took down the Memphis Grizzlies early in the series. The Grizzlies must be held accountable for talking a little too much off the field. Dillon Brooks has stated that LeBron James is not at the same level as his days in Cleveland and Miami.
After the Grizzlies won game 2, Brooks stated that LeBron was ‘old’ and that he would only respect the 38-year-old if and if he scored 40 points. LeBron James and the Lakers coached the Grizzlies at both ends of the field.

LeBron had some memorable moments throughout the series and was especially impressive in game 4, when he finished with 22 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 blocks.
While James isn’t at his best throughout the series, he seems to have picked his moments and fully knows he has the quality to make a difference when it matters most. The Lakers had full control of the series from the start and knew exactly what they were up against.
After not speaking out about trash talk until now, LeBron seems to have written a rap of his own, on Twitter:
LeBron James hits back at Grizzlies after a huge victory for the Lakers
The much-anticipated feud between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks ended, but it wasn’t exactly a surprise ending. James kept his promise and let his actions speak louder than his words, while Brooks finished 180 points after speaking harshly at the beginning of the series.
James made it clear how he felt about Brooks and the Grizzlies as he returned to the stadium. LA Lakers‘ locker room with 14.1 seconds left in Game 6. He had no interest in shaking hands with the Grizzlies after the decisive 125-85 win.
Brooks, on the other hand, took a much different approach. After calling James to follow Grizzly Memphis‘ won Game 2, he apparently left the dressing room before the media was allowed to speak to the players after the loss in Game 6.
Unsurprisingly, Brooks failed to take the lead, ending a six-game streak with just 63 points and 20 individual fouls, including one being disqualified after hitting James in the groin. His choice to speak out about one of the greatest players and the disrespect shown by Brooks seems to have angered LeBron James.
