Thirty-three-year-old Aphner Gustave was charged in a case from a week ago at an eastern Orange County complex. The victim said she ordered an alcoholic drink from delivery app GoPuff and when the driver checked her identification, he “ran in with his hand and touched her left breast with his right hand”. according to the arrest report. was trying to get her to talk to him, and when she refused, he “gave her a happy punch.” The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has reached out on social media asking anyone experiencing similar delivery issues to let them know Messages on both Facebook and Twitter urge people to report any issues. could happen in relation to Gustave. She said she was “on the phone with my boyfriend and (the driver) reached over and ended my call.” He also “approached her with no success because she quickly closed the door and locked it.” Orange County said it was looking into the case to see if there was a link to Gustave. GoPuff sent us a statement saying that in part “customer safety is our top priority” and that it “terminated this individual’s contract and removed him from the GoPuff platform”.

He explained to investigators that he was trying to get her to talk to him and when she refused, he “reached out his hand to give her a fun punch.”
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reached out on social media asking anyone experiencing a similar delivery problem to let them know.
Messages on both Facebook and Twitter urge people to report any possible problems with Gustave. He faces burglary, battery and is fighting arrest charges.
The day before the incident that led to his arrest, a woman reported that a GoPuff driver was at her door. She said she was “on the phone with my boyfriend and (the driver) reached over and ended my call.” He also “reached her hand but failed because she quickly closed the door and locked it.”
Orange County said it was looking into the case to see if there was a connection to Gustave.
GoPuff sent us a statement saying that “the safety of our customers is our top priority” and that it “terminated this individual’s contract and removed him from the GoPuff platform.”
