Governor Newsom Says Abortion Will Still Be Legal in California
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, people across the country condemned the nation’s highest court, including the Governor of California. Gavin Newsom.
In a tweet, the radical leader reminded everyone that abortion is legal and will remain so in California, and is a safe haven for other women seeking help.
Abortion is legal in California.
It will still be.
I just signed a bill that makes our state a safe haven for women across the country.
We will not cooperate with any country that attempts to prosecute women or doctors for receiving or providing reproductive care.

Newsom also said the state would not cooperate with other states in their efforts to prosecute abortion women and those involved.

The courts have failed us all – but we are not going to back down. I will continue to fight because everyone deserves the care they need. Join me and @PPact: https://t.co/fd4K56b8w3. #BansOffOurBodies pic.twitter.com/FVwoCZqRy0
