Halo Infinite Season 2 launches on May 3, bringing new modes, maps, and a new battle. The name of the new Season is Lone Wolves, which has armor cores and lore revolving around spartans who prefer to work alone.
In one blog post, 343 Industries has set its priorities in terms of updating the game as well as showcasing some of the upcoming content in Season 2. The studio’s number one priority right now is “Hot List”, which includes the positive issue that makes the multiplayer experience worse for everyone. Some examples of these issues are not making player progress based on scores and issues that have occurred. Big battle for over a month.
Then there’s the second priority, which will launch Season 2: Lone Wolves on May 3. Season 2 will include two maps: an Arena map called Catalyst and a BTB map called Breaker. There will also be three new modes; Last Spartan Standing, free version for all eliminations, Land Grab and King of the Hill. 343 Industries will share more about the content in Season 2 this coming April.
Battle Pass Part 2 will include both paid and free customization options for the new Lone Wolves armor core, which will be free to all players. It is also revealed that co-op campaign won’t release at launch of Season 2, but will instead come later in the season. Blacksmithing is still set to release at the beginning of Season 3.
